ANALYTICAL SKILL

Men's brain has lot of space for handling the analytical process. So easily he can analyze and find the solution for a process.

If a complex map is viewed by women, she can not understand it. She can not understand the details of the map easily.
For her it is dump of lines in a paper.

CAR DRIVING.

While driving a car, men's analytical spaces are used in his brain. He can drive a car fast. If he see an object at long distance, immediately his brain classifies the object (bus or van or car) direction and speed of the object and driving accordingly. Where as women take a long time to recognize the object direction/ speed. His single process mind stops the audio in the car (if any), then concentrating only on the driving.
You can often watch, while men driving the car fastly, the women sit next to him will shout, "GO SLOW" , "CARE FULL", "AAHHH", "OHH GOD.." etc..

LIE

Many times, when men lie to women face to face, they got caught easily.
Her super natural brain observe the facial expression 70%, and the body language 20% and the words comes from mouth 10%. So he is easily caught while lying.

Men's brain does not have this.
Women easily lie to men face to face.
So guys, While lying to your girls, use phone, or letter or close all the lights or cover your/her face with blanket.
Don't lie face to face.

PROBLEM.

End of day, if men have lot of problems, his brain clearly classifies the problems and put into individual rooms of brain, the problems in individual room of brain and finding the solution one by one. You can see many guys looking on the sky's for a long times. If you disturb him, he gets irritated.

End of Day, if women have lot of problems, her brain can not classify the problems. she wants some one to hear that. After telling everything to a person she goes happily to bed. She does not worry about the problem solved or not.

WANTS

Men want status, success, solutions, big process... etc Women want relationship, friends, family...etc...

UNHAPPY

If women unhappy with their relations, she can not concentrate on work.
If men unhappy with their work, he can not concentrate on the relations.

MAP

Men can easily locate the place in a complex map. His analytical brain does this. While watching a cricket match in a stadium with full of crowd, men can leave his seat to T shop and keeps everything in his mind and comes back to his seat with out problems. He uses his analytical skills space of brain.

Women can't do this. They often lost their way to their seat.

LIFE

Life is very easy to Men. One good job, one alcohol bottle is enough for him.
Women want everything in life.

SPEECH

Women use indirect languages in speech.

Arasavalli has a unique distinction of having the only Sun God temple where devout offers prayers daily. Jallikattu is an ancient heroic sporting event of the Tamils from Tamil Nadu which takes place during the Pongal festive season. Jallikattu is a South Indian celebration involving bull taming, somewhat similar to the Spanish running of the bulls. It is held in the villages of Tamil Nadu on the eve of Mattu Pongal, one of the four days of Pongal festival (usually January 15 on the Western calendar). The one held in Alanganallur, near Madurai, is the most popular. This ancient Jallikattu sports is also known as "Manju Virattu", meaning "chasing the bull".
According to legend, in olden days the game was used by women to choose their husbands. Successful "matadors" were chosen as a hero among the girls and will be considered as a eligible bachelor to approach the girls for marriage proposal.

Oldest Photograph of 1840

In 1814, Joseph Nicéphore Niépce created the first photographic image with a camera obscura, however, the image required eight hours of light exposure and later faded. Louis-Jacques-Mandé Daguerre is considered the inventor of the first practical process of photography in 1837. That's what the history of still photography says.
The above photograph was taken somewhere in 1840 and it is archived in the oldest photographs documents now. So, this can be called the photograph that was taken in first phase in India. The ladies in this photograph were temple dancers (devadasis) as mentioned in a brief description along with this photograph.

Ever wonder why wedding ring should be on fourth finger?

In Western cultures, a wedding ring is traditionally worn on the ring finger. According to tradition, the wedding ring is worn on the left ring finger because the vein in the left ring finger, referred to as the 'vena amoris' was believed to be directly connected to the heart, a symbol of love.

In medieval Europe, the Christian wedding ceremony placed the ring in sequence on the index, middle, and ring fingers of the left hand, representing the trinity — God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit. The ring was then left on the ring finger. In a few European countries, the ring is worn on the left hand prior to marriage, then transferred to the right during the ceremony. A Greek Orthodox bride wears the ring on the left hand prior to the ceremony, then moves it to the right hand after the wedding.

In Norway, Russia, Poland, Germany, Austria, Denmark, countries of former Yugoslavia and in Spain (except in Catalonia) the wedding ring is worn on the ring finger on the right hand.

In the Jewish wedding ceremony, the groom places the ring on the bride's index finger, and not ring finger; the ring is usually moved to the ring finger after the ceremony.

In the Indian tradition, the right hand is considered as auspicious. Hence the wedding ring is worn on the right hand. However, despite tradition, some believe in wearing the ring on the left hand, matching western cultural practice. But wearing it on right hand is the appropriate method.

In Chinese tradition, here is an interesting story that tells significance wearing wedding ring on fourth finger.

Akshardham - The World's Largest Hindu Temple. Its Official!!

In 2004 Spring, I participated in a quiz program which was conducted for all TCS-USAA employees and one of the questions put forward was “Where is the world’s largest Hindu temple in the world?” Everyone came up with some place name in India such as Madhurai , Puri etc. But, the quiz master turned down all of them with I-know-you-cannot-tell kind of smile. Finally, he told that a temple dedicated to the Lord Vishnu at Angkor in Cambodia is the largest one. Pictures of this temple can be found here(site is Japanese language).
I was very much surprised how come India, with thousands of temples in it, did not have the distinction of having the largest Hindu temple. But, what I was not aware then that there were around 11,000 people building a marvelous marble temple in the capital city of India that would become the largest temple one day. Yes. I am referring to Akshardham temple which made it to Gunnies book yesterday for being the largest hindu temple in world. Below are few statistics about the temple.

* It consists of 234 ornately carved pillars, 9 ornate domes, 20 quadrangled shikhars, a spectacular Gajendra Pith (plinth of stone elephants) and 20,000 murtis and statues of India's great sadhus, devotees, acharyas and divine personalities
* The monument was built after over 300 million man hours of services rendered by 11,000 volunteers, sadhus and artisans
* The ornate external wall (Mandovar) is the only and largest, intricately carved structure with dimensions of 611ft x 31ft that is built in the last 800 years
* The Gajendra Pith stretching for 1,070 ft and weighing 3,000 tons, has 148 full-sized elephants, 42 birds and animals, 125 human sculptures!
* The Akshardham parikrama (circumambulatory path) consists of 1,152 pillars, 145 windows and 154 samvaran shikhars; amounting to a total of 53,956 stones.
* It is entirely composed of sandstone and marble. No usage of steel at all.

Water Reservoir of 'Arctic Ocean' size in China

Scientists scanning the deep interior of Earth have found evidence of a vast water reservoir beneath eastern Asia that is at least the volume of the Arctic Ocean.

The discovery marks the first time such a large body of water has found in the planet’s deep mantle.

The finding, made by Michael Wysession, a seismologist at Washington University in St. Louis, and his former graduate student Jesse Lawrence, now at the University of California, San Diego, will be detailed in a forthcoming monograph to be published by the American Geophysical Union.

Going Abroad?

Have you recently taken up a job abroad and moved out of

Do you know that you must file tax returns for your first year outside of India?
Also, if you have given any loans, you must inform the borrower and his repayments must necessarily be to your NRO account. There are several other things that one must take a note before actually start moving out of country.

Indian Search Engines

Search Engine. Can we imagine our net life with out it? Impossible! Right!
In China, Baidu.com is the premiere search engine and also very well known across the country. But unfortunately India does not have a good regional search engine yet. Till a year ago, all we have had was in.rediff.com which is the worst search engine I have seen so far. But, we now have a choice in the name of a new search engine Guruji.com, started by two students from IIT. Definitely Guruji is not very good but definitely scores over rediff in many aspects such as speed, relavent results so forth. If Guruji continues the same effort that they are putting for the last one year, I think it may attain the defacto search engine status for India soon.

Once upon a time in a village, a man appeared and announced to the villagers that he would buy monkeys for Rs10. The villagers seeing that there were many monkeys around, went out to the forest and started catching them. The man bought thousands at Rs10 and as supply started to diminish, the villagers stopped their effort. He further announced that he would now buy at Rs20. This renewed the efforts of the villagers and they started catching monkeys again. Soon the supply diminished even further and people started going back to their farms. The offer rate increased to Rs25 and the supply of monkeys became so little that it was an effort to even see a monkey let alone catch it.

The man now announced that he would buy monkeys at Rs50! However, since he had to go to the city on some business, his assistant would now buy on behalf of him. In the absence of the man, the assistant told the villagers. Look at all these monkeys in the big cage that the man has collected. I will sell them to you at Rs35 and when the man returns from the city, you can sell it to him for Rs50.” The villagers squeezed up with all their savings to buy the monkeys. Huh. It took me more than 2 months to blog my 2nd post.

I thought I am going to miss Tampa because of near completion of my project but fortunately my next assignment is also again in Tampa. So, I am not going to miss enjoying winter.
